If you have a child starting Kindergarten in the Fall of 2009 it is time to register!! One of our Best Start programs may the perfect compliment to your child’s school education! We accept children who attend kindergarten at different schools for the day’s childcare is required at the Best Start Programs. The Early Childhood Educators work closely with the Kindergarten teachers, enhancing and maximizing each other’s curriculum. Studies have proven that early learning is crucial to the success of a child’s continual education! It is not too early to register as spaces fill up quickly!! The Best Start sites located in St. Mary Catholic School and Breadner Public School are doing great and are continuing to exceed our expectations.We invite families to come and visit our sites. at St.Mary Catholic School and Breadner!!

We have had a very successful fi rst year at both our Best Start locations! Best Start is all about Early Childhood Educators and Kindergarten teachers working together to prepare children for grade 1. The ECE‛s had opportunities to meet with the teachers and even attended some training days on the kindergarten curiculum. Both school have been wonderful in making us feel welcome! The children benefit from library and gym time. Breadner School – We were very fortunate to be able to share a second room at Breadner allowing us to have our before and after school children attend right on site! The Best Start children in partnership with the Kindergarten classes have been participating in the school assemblies. It has been a wonderful experience for all! We look forward to an exciting summer. The Breadner location will be open all summer long for children JK to 12 years of age. St.Mary Catholic School - The Best Start program has been full for most of the school year. We have enjoyed being able to operate this site as a French Immersion program. All children have benefi ted from the Francophone curriculum component. The children who attend this site will be moving to Breadner or our Main site for the summer. We will be back in full swing by the end of August!
